The Discover® Student Card - Monogram Collection is ideal if you are looking for a cash back reward card and would like a truly personalized card design that displays your initial(s) on the front of the card. Through the reward program, you'll earn a 5% rebate for purchases made in popular categories that change four times a year like travel, gas, restaurants, movies, and more. Plus, you'll earn up to 1% for general purchases. You can also earn up to a double Cashback Bonus® for redeeming your rebates for gift certificates from participating Discover® Card Partners. There is no yearly limit on the amount of rebates that can be earned, and rebates do not expire as long as the account is active within a 36-month period. This card has a reasonable interest rate on purchases and balance transfers, and it uses a more costly method of computing balances. So this cards is not ideal if you plan to carry a balance. However, there is no annual fee. There is also a 0% introductory APR on balance transfers for 6 months, and a 0% introductory APR on purchases for up to 6 months.
